First-Year Experience & Transition Programs are looking for five first-generation students to serve as peer mentors for the program. The commitment is from August 12-August 19 with a stipend of $750. Applications are due Friday, February 27 via our website.
Qualifications:
· First-generation student
· 3.00 GPA or higher
· Involved in at least one extracurricular campus activity
· Experience working with others in a leadership or mentoring role
· Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
· Dependability
· Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
· Proficiency with social media, taking and posting photographs online
