CSG International is hosting its Spring 2017 Hackathon Feb. 17-18.
Participants will be eligible for prizes and multiple raffle awards, and first prize team members are guaranteed interviews for internships. Participants must register on teams of two or three people.
Teams will compete to create an innovative solution for a problem that will be announced during the kick-off Friday, Feb. 17.
The hackathon will be hosted at CSG International’s West Dodge location Feb. 17-18. Meals, snacks, and plenty of beverages including energy drinks will be provided during this event.
Participants:
· Will be able to create solutions in any language
· Must provide their own devices and tools (BYOL - Bring Your Own Laptop)
February 17: One Hour Kick-Off Event
· 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: CSG Overview, Challenge Details, Prize Overview
February 17-18: Hackathon Event
· 02/17 7:00 p.m. – 2/18 4:30 p.m.: Challenge
· 02/18 4:30 p.m. - 2/18 6:30 p.m.: Team Demo & Judging
· 02/18 6:30 p.m. – 2/18 7:00 p.m.: Award Ceremony & Final Thoughts
Cash prizes and awards to be provided
· 1st Place Team: $2,100 / $700 each
· 2nd Place Team: $1,500 / $500 each
· 3rd Place Team: Each member receives an iPad mini 32gb
· All participants will have chance to win gift cards, T-shirts, and more for participating
