Join us for Dinner and a Math Problem before NATM

NebraskaMATH is hosting gatherings for math teachers before the NATM Conference at The Cornhuster Hotel in Lincoln on Sunday, September 23.

Arriving in Lincoln early? Mingle with fellow math teachers and enjoy some munchies from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.

WHAT: Dinner & a Math Problem.
Mathematics teachers (especially of grades 6-12) and college faculty are invited to enjoy a light dinner and explore a rich yet accessible mathematics problem that can be adapted for use in the classroom.

WHO: While we especially hope to see our NebraskaMATH and Math in the Middle friends, ALL are welcome!

WHEN: 6:30 – 8:00 pm

WHERE: The Cornhusker Hotel, Lincoln

PRESENTION: Ovals and Squiggles and Diamonds, Oh My! The mathematics of the game SET.

PRESENTERS: Danielle Buhrman of Grand Island Senior High, Alicia Davis of Hastings Middle School, and Courtney Gibbons of UNL will present.
