RSVP for Math and Science Teachers Circles at NATM/NATS

The Nebraska Association of Teachers of Mathematics will hold its 2017 annual conference jointly with the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science from Sept. 7-9 in Kearney. The keynote speaker is Derrick A. Nero, the K-12 Engineering Education Instructor in the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Education.

The NebraskaMATH Partnership invites all who are heading to Kearney for the conference to join us for Math and Science Teachers' Circles on Friday evening. On Friday, Sept. 8, at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney the gathering will offer three sessions, one for elementary teachers, a second for secondary math teachers, and a third for secondary science teachers. The doors will open at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. and presentations to follow at 7 p.m.

Lindsey Sample of Milford will be presenting the elementary session. Deb Bulin of Thayer Central and Blaine Cullinan of Arthur will present secondary math. Beth Lewis of UNL will present science.
