Spring Research Fair to take place April 14-15

The 2015 UNL Research Fair will take place Tuesday, April 14 – Wednesday, April 15 in the Nebraska Union. The event will showcase undergraduate and graduate student research and creative accomplishments at UNL. The UNL Research Fair will include opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to display their research as ePosters and will feature a Graduate Student Poster Competition.

The Graduate Student Research and Creative Activities Poster Session and Competition will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Centennial Room and Ballroom of the Nebraska Union. The Office of Research and Economic Development, in conjunction with the Office of Graduate Studies, will award 12 $400 travel grants to students whose research poster is deemed outstanding by faculty judges. Undergraduates who are considering graduate school are encouraged to attend the "Planning and Preparing for Graduate School" workshop on Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union. Dinner will be served; RSVP by April 9 at http://research.unl.edu/events/event.php?eventID=1436.

Wednesday’s events include a luncheon and presentation "Safety Culture: Perspectives and Practices" by Sean Kaufman and sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development. Register by April 10 at http://research.unl.edu/events/event2.php?eventID=1400

The Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Activities Poster Session will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday in the Centennial Room and Ballroom.
