To promote safe bicycle riding on campus and in the Lincoln community, UNL Campus Recreation will offer free bicycle maintenance classes to UNL students and guests. A new topic will be presented each Thursday night in November.
Classes will focus on basic maintenance items bicyclists can do on their own to avoid being stranded on the street or trail. Topics include patching a flat, brake adjustments, derailleur adjustments, riding position and bike fit, and layering for winter commuting enjoyment. Each class will be held Thursday nights 6-7 p.m. at the Bike Shop at the Campus Rec Center.
