Less than 50 spots remain for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources' free 5K fun run/walk at 8 a.m., April 11 on UNL's East Campus. The event is part of the annual CASNR Week festivities.
The event is open to UNL faculty, staff, students and the community, including children with parents/guardians. Awards given for best costume, top male and female finisher, and top master male and female (ages 40 and up) finishers.
Preregistration is required at http://go.unl.edu/funrun.
A maximum of 300 entries are being accepted on a first come, first serve basis until April 10 or before, if it sells out. No sign-ups will be taken on race day.
Details about bib pickup, the course map, and guidelines can be found on the registration website. Although awards are given to top finishers, official times will not be recorded or posted.
