Constitutional Law professors to debate First Amendment issues on Sept. 18

In celebration of Constitution Day, two professors from the College of Law at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will discuss free speech and demonstration on college campuses on Sept. 18 from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Nebraska Union.

Eric Berger, associate dean for faculty and professor of Law, will join Richard F. Duncan, Sherman S. Welpton, Jr. Professor of Law and Warren R. Wise Professor of Law, to examine personal rights and free speech in the college environment.

This event is sponsored by ASUN Student Government, the Center for Civic Engagement, the College of Journalism and Mass Communication, the College of Law, Institutional Equity and Compliance, the LGBTQA+ Resource Center, the Office of Academic Support and Intercultural Services and the Women’s Center.
