- Crystal Bergman has joined SNR and HPRCC as a post-doc working with Martha Shulski. She will be doing climatological work. Crystal received her Ph.D. from SNR this past May. Contact info: HarH 704, cbergman2@unl.edu, 402-472-8208.
- Aidi Huo will be joining SNR as a visiting scientist. He will be working Xun-Hong Chen. Contact info: HarH 621, HarH 622 in early September.
- Lindsey Messinger is the new Hunter Survey Specialist for the Coop Unit. She is also currently pursuing her master's degree with SNR. Contact info: HarH 510, lmessinger2@unl.edu, 402-472-7074.
- Victor Moutinho, a visiting scientist with Tala Awada, will be visiting SNR from mid-August through early October. Contact info: HarH 727.
- Juan Diego Otero Sarimento, a visiting scientist with Guillermo Baigorria will be visiting SNR from late August through January 2015. Contact info: HarH 243 #3.
- Abby Stilwell has joined SNR as a post-doc working with Art Zygielbaum. She will be doing remote sensing work. She received her Ph.D. from UNL in Entomology in 2009. Contact info: HarH 301, astilwell2@unl.edu.

Farewell
- Yuanyang Huang, a visiting scientist with Xun-Hong Chen, will be concluding his visit on September 3.
- Lucas Kowalewski will be leaving SNR and the Coop Unit on August 28. He has taken a position with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
- Supantha Paul, a visitor with Bob Oglesby, concluded his visit on July 29.
- Best wishes and congratulations to our students, both graduate and undergraduate who will be graduating on August 16.
