“Many international students have the goal of remaining in the United States after they graduate and begin a career.” said Andrea McClintic, associate director of external relations at UNL Career Services. “However, there are unique challenges that international students face when it comes to searching for U.S. employment and the job search process.”

The semi-annual event will include two sessions: an overview of how to seek employment in the United States at 3 p.m.; and a panel discussion featuring representatives from employers, international students and alumni at 3:45 p.m.

For more information, visit Career Services in the Nebraska Union (Room 225) or call 402-472-3145.

Students who cannot attend the workshop can visit Career Services for assistance with a job search. Appointments can be scheduled via phone or through MyPlan on Blackboard from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
