The SNR Graduate Student Association is kicking off the school year with the annual SNR Welcome Back BBQ from 6-9 p.m., Aug. 28 at the Lincoln Ike's Club. All SNR students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
Please fill out the Doodle Poll (http://doodle.com/5kyta7a9thkz9rbh) if you plan to attend so GSA can have an approximate head count. Since this is a potluck, also include what kind of dish you plan to bring. GSA will provide the main dish (amenable to meat-eaters and vegetarians alike).
Faculty or staff: Please bring a side dish/dessert or a non-alcoholic* beverage to share.
Returning graduate students: Please bring a side dish/dessert and offer rides to new graduate students.
New graduate students: Just bring yourself!
*Alcohol policy: There will be a bar available at the clubhouse (cash or check only). Domestic beers are $2.75 and liquor, drinks and wine are $4.
Directions to the Ike's Club from Hardin Hall are available at http://go.unl.edu/56to. GSA will assist in coordinating carpooling efforts since this location is a little farther away than in the past.
