This year UNL Gardens returns to the Earl G. Maxwell Arboretum for our monthly tours from noon to 1 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month starting April 3.

We’ll revisit old friends and make new acquaintances with recently installed plants. As always, we’ll focus on looking close and following woody and herbaceous plants through their seasonal changes.

We will usually meet at the Loerch Gazebo along theEast Campus Loop, one block East of the Dairy Store. A few tours will begin at the Perin Porch, south of Ag Communications. Check the UNL Gardens Facebook page or web site to verify start location.

The tours are led by Emily Levine, Special Projects Research Horticulturist and former Grounds Supervisor for the arboretum. They are free and open to the public.
