The University Health Center offers a variety of convenient, quality health care services to faculty and staff. Those services include:

Pharmacy — Save time by filling prescriptions on campus. To transfer a current prescription, bring in the bottle with the label indicating refills remaining. Refill prescriptions by app, online or phone. The health center also offer hundreds of over-the-counter items. Many are less than $5.

Dental — Includes cleanings, complete dental exams, crowns/bridgework, extractions, fillings, root canals and more.

Physical Therapy — Staff evaluates, treats and rehabilitates injuries and conditions affecting muscles, bones and joints. The health center offers patient care and individualized treatments that help employees have success in daily activities. Referral from a medical provider is required.

Travel Clinic — Get immunizations, medication prescriptions and travel advice needed to have a safe trip.

Optometry Services — Includes complete eye exams, glaucoma checks and prescriptions for eyeglasses. Contact lenses are available onsite and can be ordered.

Nutrition — Dietitians can help tailor diets to meet personal health needs through an individualized collaborative approach. Participants won’t receive a strict meal plan or unrealistic advice, but instead will be assisted in developing personalized strategies for developing healthy choices that lead to improved well-being.

Faculty and staff can make appointments at 402-472-5000 or by stopping at the University Health Center during normal business hours.
