The UNL Employee Assistance Program is organizing a 10-week parenting program to help with raising children. The program opens with an information session, noon to 1 p.m., today in the Nebraska Union.
The parenting program, titled "Love and Logic," covers seven modules to help parents develop a structure in which to raise children to be responsible adults. The modules are: Four Steps to Responsibility; The C.O.O.L. Formula; Science of Control; "O" is for Ownership of the Problem; "O" is also for Opportunity for Thinking; "L" stands for Let Empathy and Consequences do the Teaching; and Value of Chores.
