Construction to expand the guest parking lot at the corner of 13th and R streets begins May 21.
The project will increase the availability of short-term parking meters. The lot will also be used to relocate reserved parking spaces.
The project will begin to address the streetscape, enhance pedestrian access and improve parking screening along R Street.
