The Department of Entomology hosts and open house, 4 to 6 p.m., June 8 at Entomology Hall. The event celebrates the 125th year of entomology study at the University of Nebraska and the recent remodel of Entomology Hall.
The Department of Entomology was established in 1887 as part of the Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station. Entomology Hall was originally named the Plant Industry Building. The building has been the home of Entomology since it was dedicated on June 10, 1913.
The open house is free and open to the public.
