Ice cream flavor contest open to Nebraska students

The UNL Food Processing Center is giving Nebraska high school students the chance to craft a new ice cream flavor. The winning student must be a sophomore or junior and will receive a $1,500 scholarship to attend UNL and pursue a food science and technology major. The entry deadline is April 2. Kenyan poet wins Sillerman Prize
