The University Program Council will present "Heads vs. Feds: The Debate Over the Legalization of Marijuana," at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 7 in the Centennial Room of the Nebraska Union.

Steve Hager, former editor-in-chief of High Times Magazine, will battle it out against veteran Drug Enforcement Agency special agent Bob Stutman on issues surrounding the legalization of marijuana. This interactive debate, driven entirely by student questions, gives its audience a one-of-a-kind opportunity to discuss a very relevant topic given two recent legalizations in two states.

Stutman, labeled as "the most famous narc in America" by New York Magazine, served 25 years as one the most high-profile drug busters in the world. He has appeared frequently on hundreds of TV shows including "Today" and "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Hager is a former reporter for the New York Daily News and was editor of High Times Magazine for more than 16 years. Today, he remains as the editor-at-large of High Times and writes monthly columns to the magazine titled "Counterculture Chronicles."

The event will be free for UNL Students with a valid NCard and $5 for all others.

The University Program Council is a student organization that provides diverse, educational and entertaining programs and events to enhance the UNL community.
