Hypnotist offers two shows today at East Union

The University Program Council will present back-to-back shows by hypnotist Dr. Jim Wand at 7 and 9 p.m. on Jan. 20 in the Great Plains Room of the East Union.

This event will be free for UNL Students with a valid NCard and $5 for all others.

Wand has been involved in the field of hypnosis for more than 25 years and has been described as one of the most professional hypnotic entertainers in the world today. Having visited 47 states, he has become a well-known entertainer for college students. Wand has worked with such personalities as Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Probst, Sylvester Stallone, George Strait, and The Judds, just to mention a few. Wand has also appeared on numerous television programs including a national FOX special, "WOW," "The Judge Joe Brown Show," the Discovery Channel, Comedy Central and numerous other appearances on FOX, ABC, NBC and CBS.

University Program Council is a student organization that provides diverse educational and entertaining programs and events to enhance the UNL community. UPC acts as the executive body responsible for the implementation of programs and activities funded by University Programs and Facilities Fees.
