Sony Pictures Classics presents Viva Pedro!, the theatrical re-release of eight of celebrated auteur Pedro Almodovar's greatest films. The theatrical re-release will introduce new audiences to Almodovar and at the same time present the films to his many fans in the manner which they are meant to be seen and appreciated. Brand new prints have been made of all eight films. Several of these titles have not been shown in theaters since their original release. All of the films have been withdrawn from the DVD marketplace to accommodate their theatrical re-release. Films being shown in the retrospective are: Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988), All About My Mother (1999), Talk To Her (2002), Flower Of My Secret (1995), Live Flesh (1996), Law Of Desire (1987), Matador (1986), and Bad Education (2004).

The life of celebrated Wildman Charles Bukowski has been brought to the big screen on a number of occasions prior to this adaptation of his book, Factotum. This Norwegian production from director Bent Hamer sees Matt Dillon taking on the role of Chinaski. Dillon gets the character just about right, subtly perfecting the deadbeat behavior that leads to innumerable firings from menial jobs, while also offering a persuasive depiction of a man lost in the throes of an addiction to booze, women, and gambling. Set in Minneapolis-St. Paul, which overflows with the depreciated low-rent apartments and cruddy, soul destroying workplaces Bukowski thrived upon, Factotum is an arresting depiction of humanity at its lowest ebb.
