Final Weekend Of 'Celebrating Darwin's Legacy'
An exhibition of photographs, drawings, paintings and Darwinian materials guest curated by Paul A. Johnsgard will continue through its final weekend at the Nebraska State Museum. "Celebrating Darwin's Legacy: Evolution in the Galapagos Islands and the Great Plains" tells an evolutionary story that residents of the Great Plains can relate to within their own environment, and runs through August 31.
Museum admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children (4 & under free), $10 for families with additional cost for planetarium shows. Parking free. Museum hours: 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday.-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Thursdays; 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sundays.

Sheldon Museum of Art Seeks Student Docents for Fall Semester
The Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites university students this fall to become museum docents. Through leading visitor tours and sharing information about the Sheldon and its outstanding exhibitions, student docents enjoy the rewards of assisting others while developing their leadership and presentation skills and increasing their knowledge about American art.
