Darryl White KIMBALL RECITAL HALL, 7:30PM
Darryl White Gives Faculty Recital

Faculty artist Darryl White will give a trumpet recital at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. White will perform with Elizabeth Grimpo, piano, and fellow faculty artist, Christopher Marks, organ.

The program will include classical works by Arthur Honegger, Joseph Turrin, David Gillingham, and spotlights the haunting yet beautiful "O Magnum Mysterium" by Morten Lauridsen, arranged for trumpet and organ. This event is free and open to the public.

Shipwrecked! LAB THEATRE, TEMPLE BUILDING, 7:30PM
Theatrix Opens Season With Shipwrecked!

Theatrix, the student-run theatre organization under the auspices of the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film (JCSTF) opens its 2009-2010 season with Donald Margulies' Shipwrecked!: An Entertainment, The Amazing Story of Louis de Rougement (as told by himself), a show perfect for imaginations of all ages.

Shipwrecked will have performances October 1st - 3rd at 7:30 p.m. and October 4th at 2:00 p.m. at the Lab Theatre on the 3rd floor of the Temple Building. Individual Show Tickets are $6 (some user fees may be applied) at UNL Theatre Tickets website or at the theatre the evening of performance (subject to availability).

The Stoning of Soraya M. and It Might Get Loud Play at the Ross

UNL's Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center presents The Stoning of Soraya M. and It Might Get Loud. The Stoning of Soraya M. will show through October 1, while It Might Get Loud will screen through October 8.
