ANDERSEN HALL ROOM 15, 1PM

University Communications hosts social media best practices seminar

Social media

Join other university communicators for a Content Convergence Conference on making the Web experience a two-way conversation with key audiences. The session is 1 p.m. in Andersen Hall, room 15. This session also will be live-streamed at http://communicators.unl.edu.

This free session is offered by University Communications as part of a series of Content Convergence Conferences designed for UNL staff or faculty who create and update department and college websites. New tools are now available that will make that task easier. Integrating on the Web information, photos, video and other content is critical in communicating effectively with students, faculty, business audiences, visitors seeking information and academic community members from other universities.

BA/BFA Capstone Exhibition open through Friday

UNL's Department of Art and Art History presents the work of this semester's graduating seniors in the "BA/BFA Capstone Exhibition" Dec. 12-16 in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. A closing reception is Dec. 16 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.

Participation in the BA/BFA Capstone Exhibition is part of the ACE 10 Capstone course, where students generate a creative or scholarly product that requires broad knowledge, appropriate technical proficiency, information collection, synthesis, interpretation, presentation and reflection. The exhibition represents students' most recent work that is a culmination of their coursework and exploration in studio art at UNL. Read more about the exhibit and see a list of students featured in Today@UNL.
