Lancaster County 4-H has teams which compete at the statewide Premier Animal Science Event (PASE) in June and other livestock-related competitions throughout the year. A livestock judging mock contest will be held on Sunday, Jan. 12, 7:30 a.m. at the Animal Science Complex on UNL East Campus. Youth will get to watch and practice in a contest setting. After the mock contest, information will be provided about other PASE competitions. 4-H’ers interested in joining a team or learning about Livestock Judging, Livestock Quiz Bowl, Livestock Skill-a-thon, Meats Judging or Poultry Judging are encouraged to attend.
