Open to all 4-H’ers — need not be enrolled in a horse project. Since 4-H'ers are no longer able to meet in-person for horse judging practices, Roger Bell and Lancaster County 4-H is providing an opportunity for youth to learn and practice those skills at home. We have created a Box folder (in the cloud) which contains materials and instructions to start horse judging.

• Password: lancaster2020
• Watch Horse class videos: Hunter Under Saddle 2016 San Antonio #3 and Hunt Seat Equitation 2014 Johnson County #8
• Make notes on every class. Think about faults and disqualifications. Start writing down the good and the bad that you notice about each horse and rider. Practice placing the class before you see the official answer to see how you did. No cheating!

5. View additional documents in this folder for additional studying materials.

6. Don’t be afraid to look at other halter classes for more practice.

7. Email Kate at kpulec3@unl.edu for the answers to the quiz or for any questions on this material.
