Horse Judging and Pre-State Horse Show Postponed
The Lancaster County 4-H Horse Judging Contest scheduled for Friday, May 29 has been postponed.
The Lancaster County 4-H Horse VIPS Committee’s Pre-State Horse Show (formerly the Pre-District Show) scheduled for Saturday, May 30 has been postponed.
Babysitting Training Postponed
The Babysitting Training for 5th–7th Graders scheduled for Tuesday, June 2 has been postponed.
District Horse Shows Canceled
Nebraska 4-H is canceling all District Horse Shows. This includes the previously scheduled June 18 District Show in Lincoln. All youth will be allowed to enter the Fonner Park State 4-H Expo without qualifying. Entries to the State 4-H Expo are due to the county Extension office by June 15.
Civic Engagement Ideas
Communities across Nebraska need true leaders now more than ever. Nebraska 4-H lists ways you can positively contribute to your community while maintaining social distance. Categories include: Hands to Larger Service, Share a Story and Community Scavenger Hunt.
4-H Resources You May Use At Home
Lancaster County 4-H is compiling a list of 4-H resources and activities 4-H families, volunteers and youth may use at home during the COVID-19 situation. The resources are categorized by Nebraska 4-H project areas. Resources are still being added — check back often!
