Swine tags, beef tags and DNA envelopes for livestock projects are now available for pick-up. 4-H/FFA members who need these items may send requests to Calvin at cdevries2@unl.edu by 5 p.m. each Thursday. Requested items will be available at 8:30 a.m. on the following Friday at the Lancaster Extension Education Center, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Lincoln. Items will be in the drop box outside the front entrance. This is strictly a drop-off and pick-up point — the office is closed to in-person traffic. Completed ID certificates are due June 15. DNA envelopes are due July 1. The drop box may be used to return completed DNA envelopes and ID certificates. New to the 4-H drop box on the inside is a silver locked mailbox that can be used to turn in these items.
