Horse Awards Night in Open-House Format Planned for Oct. 1

4-H horse youth put in a lot of effort this year, and Lancaster County 4-H plans to celebrate their achievements on Thursday, Oct. 1 at the Lancaster Extension Education Center, Lincoln. (Pending approval from UNL administration.) Awards! Rewards! Recognition! To accommadate social distancing, this year’s event will be an open-house type format without a formal program.

Each horse youth may only bring 1 parent/guardian. Families will be asked to come at designated times and must leave by designated times.
• Last names “A – G” will only be allowed: 6:30-7:00 p.m.
• Last names “H – P” will only be allowed: 7:00-7:30 p.m.
• Last names “Q – Z” will only be allowed: 7:30-8:00 p.m.

Come pick up your awards and rewards, watch this year’s highlight reel and see a looped slideshow announcing the top winners!

Health measures must be strictly followed, including wearing face coverings and a health screening check-in.
