Several 4-H milestones will be celebrated at 4-H Achievement Virtual Celebration on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 6:30 p.m. The following milestone honorees will receive special pins: 2021 seniors, 3 year members, 2 year leaders, 5 year leaders, 10 year leaders, 15 year leaders, 20 year leaders, etc.

Senior T-shirt Orders Due TODAY
Lancaster County 4-H Council is sponsoring 4-H t-shirts for seniors graduating in the spring of 2021 (May - June). T-shirts will be mailed in time for the 4-H Achievement VIRTUAL Celebration on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 6:30 p.m. Please complete by January 22.
Virtual Companion Animal Challenge, Deadline April 2
The statewide 4-H Companion Animal Contest will be VIRTUAL! All entry forms are due Friday, April 2 by 5 p.m. Art, Photography, Essay, Demonstration entries/exhibits should be uploaded to the online entry form. Trivia will be completed through an online quiz which must be taken from April 12-18.

The annual 2021 Nebraska Severe Weather Awareness Poster Contest is open to Nebraska third grade students. All entries must be received by the local Emergency Management Director/Coordinator on or before Feb. 11.
New $5,000 Scholarship Contest for UNL Animal Science Majors
University of Nebraska-Lincoln Animal Science has a new "Inspiring Your Future Scholarship Competition" for incoming animal science majors. Tell your digital story about an individual or animal who has inspired you to pursue an education and career in animal science. Deadline is Feb. 15.
