Creighton University's Rural Mini Medical School

Creighton University will host a Mini Medical School event via Zoom on Saturday, Dec. 4 for 6th-9th grade students in rural Midwest who have an interest in sciences and a possible future career in medicine. Activities range from learning about emergency medicine, the basics of nutrition and our gut, and brain dissection demonstrations. At least one parent or legal guardian must be in attendance during the Mini-Medical School Day. Parents or legal guardians will participate in a separate parent program.

Registration fee: $125. Participants are eligible for a full-tuition scholarship to cover the total cost. To be eligible for scholarship consideration, please email a letter to Jo Walton at jowalton@creighton.edu on school stationary with your name typed on it. The letter must be signed by a school administrator (principal) or a math/science teacher.
