4-H Information Night for New Members and Volunteers, Oct. 4

Do you know youth who are interested in joining 4-H or adults who would like to help start a club? Invite them to 4-H Information Night on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 6 p.m. at Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Suite A, Lincoln. 4-H staff will give an overview of 4-H and several 4-H members will showcase their projects such as STEM, art and other exhibits, plus rabbits and llamas! There will be free hot dogs, refreshments and fun door prizes!

In Nebraska, 4-H is part of Nebraska Extension and is open to all youth ages 5–18. There are no fees to join 4-H in Lancaster County. 4-H youth can choose from over 150 different hands-on projects to learn, such as STEM, food & nutrition, photography, clothing, livestock, horse and small animals. 4-H project books are research-based. Families are needed to help organize new clubs.
