Nebraska 4-H is presenting a Dog Showmanship Obedience Agility Rally Series (SOARS) of workshops in conjunction with Platte Valley Kennel Club for 4-H'ers 8-18 years old. The next clinic will be Saturday, Feb. 18, 1–4 p.m. at Companion Dog Club of Omaha and Council Bluffs, 10803 N. 72nd St., Omaha.
This workshop will be for ADVANCED youth (ages 10-18) and dogs. The workshop will be focused on agility in regard to weaves, A-frame, table, teeter and dog walk, plus courses including Speedway for the handling and directions. Will also include directed jumps as used in obedience and rally.
Prerequisites required for the workshop:
• Heeling on loose lead
• Sit
• Come
• Stay
• Some experience on agility equipment
Early registration fee (by Feb. 13) is $20. NO day of registration will be available BUT auditing is free (without dogs)!
