A 4-H Jumping Clinic and Mock Show hosted by Hunter's Pride 4-H Club will be held on Saturday, July 22 at Middle Cross Stables, 500 W. Sprague Rd, Roca. Expected start time: 9 a.m. Session times will be emailed. The clinic is open to youth ages 8-18 (as of Jan. 1) who have passed Horse Advancement Level 1. This clinic with trainer and coach Diane Usher is highly recommended for any 4-H'er planning to enter jumping classes at county fair. Students will receive 1-1/2 hours of quality instruction per group and all experience levels are welcome and encouraged! Groups will be separated by experience levels. Groups will be coached on the basics and fundamentals of safety and will be taught how to ride courses based upon what judges are looking for.
Clinic Fee is $50 per rider. Fees can be made payable to Hunter's Pride on the day of the clinic or venmo @lona-thies. ASTM-approved helmets are required for all participants. Concessions will be available.
