Nebraska Extension and Lincoln Littles will present an Early Childhood Prep Academy: Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at Educare Lincoln, 3435 N. 14th St, Lincoln. This workshop is for 10-16 year-old students to learn more about early childhood and careers in early childhood education.
The training will cover:
• The stages of child development.
• An introduction and hands-on experiences related to the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines for young children.
• Exploring various career opportunities in early childhood education.
• First aid and CPR training.
