Madelaine Polk graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management and a minor in Leadership and Communication. She was a 4-H youth member in Lancaster County from ages 8-18 in the Star City Cornhuskers Club. She participated in many 4-H activities including county and state horse contests, horticulture contests, Clover College and volunteer days helping judges before the Super Fair. At the county fair, Madelaine took part in the table setting contest, entered many static exhibits and enjoyed showing horses and swine. She says, “I loved my time as a 4-H member and experienced many opportunities for growth in different areas through the 4-H program. I am excited for the opportunity to work in my home county and positively impact youth through this position."
