A 4-H Miniature Horse and Pony Project Clinic will be held on Saturday April 13 at S & L Stables, 12301 S. 176th St., Bennet. Did you know that 4-H has both mini and pony classes at the State 4-H Horse Show and that most county fairs also have pony halter and riding classes, with some county fairs even having driving classes? The miniature horse and Shetland pony are great small acreage projects for families.

Come learn with 4-H volunteer Sheila Purdum and pony trainer Irene Graves, who have over 50 years experience as 4-H horse project leaders and driving ponies. Costs: $25 per youth, $20 pony rental for clinic (only six available — must reserve).

RSVP to Sheila Purdum by April 10 at purdumstables@gmail.com and/or 402-560-2255.
