At the 2024 Lancaster County Super Fair, 4-H & FFA exhibits & events will run Aug. 1–4, and 4-H Horse Shows will be held July 31–Aug. 4.
4-H horses may start arriving Tuesday, July 30 at 4 p.m. 4-H/FFA Livestock may start arriving Wednesday, July 31 at noon at the Sandhills Global Event Center. Animal exhibitors must enter Gate 3 (second driveway off Havelock Avenue). The fairgrounds map is available at https://lancaster.unl.edu/4h/fair/2024/Fair-Book-24_Map.jpg.
On load-in days, exhibitors may unload in the posted temporary 20-minute unloading zones for each animal species:
• Beef and swine — north side of Currency Pavilion (formerly Pavilion 1)
• Rabbit, poultry, goat, sheep and dairy cattle — south side of Currency Pavilion (formerly Pavilion 1)
• Horse — marked center lines between Currency, EquineMarket (formerly Pavilion 2), and LivestockMarket (formerly Pavilion 3) Pavilions.
• Dogs, cats and household pets — marked parking spots east of South Hall (formerly Exhibit Hall)
NO PARKING allowed in posted 20-minute loading zones — move immediately after active unloading/loading is completed. Trailers will receive a color-coded parking permit sticker at check-in from fair gate parking attendants that must be displayed on each trailer at all times on the Sandhills Global Event Center fairgrounds. Livestock exhibitors may park trailers only in Lot F (cattle tie lot) and horse exhibitors may park trailers only in area marked inside the RVUniverse Campgrounds (formerly LEC Campgrounds). NO TRAILERS ALLOWED TO PARK IN ANY OTHER AREA at any time due to Fire Marshall rules.
No exhibits are released early except for hardship/emergency reasons. In the event of extreme extenuating circumstances, exhibitors must submit an early release request form and obtain approval.
