High school students are invited to experience the "Power of Red" at an upcoming University of Nebraska–Lincoln East Campus Visit Day on Saturday, Nov. 9, 9 a.m.–2 p.m., which will focus on the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR). CASNR is partnering with Nebraska Extension to extend a special welcome for 4‑H youth and their families.

You'll dive into academic interests, enjoy an optional campus tour and get all your questions answered about admissions, financial aid and more. Complimentary lunch included! Learn how CASNR prepares students for careers in everything from animals to plants, soil to climate, golf to business, technology to leadership and food to forensic science. Meet faculty, staff and current students to learn first‑hand what life at Nebraska is really like.

The Visit Day starts with an Information Fair, where attendees will learn about all of CASNR's degree programs. Students then attend three academic sessions to gain more knowledge on specific majors. See the complete list of CASNR degree programs. There will also be an Applying to Nebraska session for those who are anxious to get started right away, and a Parent Session specifically for your family to gain additional information.
