Before the 4‑H program year wraps up on Sept. 30, it's important for youth and clubs to reflect on their year and measure their success! This could include reviewing projects, community service activities and impacts, as well as any general notes from the year. What went well? What did not go well? How should we implement changes to make the next year even better?
You can encourage youth to reflect on their 4‑H year in a variety of ways: sharing out loud, drawing a picture, scrapbooking or documenting the success of their year and more! Challenge youth to reflect further than the exhibits entered at the fair or ribbons won. Encourage them to reflect on the skills they gained and how they can use their newly gained skills and experience in the future.
