Graduating seniors — do you ever wish for the chance to challenge yourself, find a better way of doing something or be your own boss? The University of Nebraska‑Lincoln's Engler Entrepreneurship Program is for students who are passionate about entrepreneurship or are interested in pursuing their purpose. Engler's mission is to embolden people on the courageous pursuit of their purpose through the art and practice of entrepreneurship. Engler students come from a wide variety of majors and disciplines. Engler is a place where future engineers, marketers, scientists, artists, programmers, farmers and many others collaborate to build enterprises. Rather than sit in lecture halls all day, students engage in entrepreneurship the tried-and-true way: learning by doing. Having a business idea is not required.

These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors and current College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) majors. Graduating seniors applying for an Engler scholarship are to declare a CASNR major and to have participated in 4‑H or FFA. For academic year 2025-2026, the application opened on 10/1/24. Applications are due Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025
