
The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Department of Food Science & Technology is offering Food Science Summer Camps tailored for high school and middle school students eager to explore the fascinating world of food science. Through hands-on activities, tours and the development of food products from small‑scale to upscale, these activities are designed to deepen your understanding of this dynamic field. Interact with experienced food scientists, engage with faculty and students, and immerse yourself in a journey of discovery.
Choose from a range of camps: 1‑day or 3‑day experiences. Each camp offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse aspects of a specific food or food product, from produce like apples to products chocolate and ice cream! All camps listed below will be held on UNL's Innovation Campus in Lincoln. The 3‑day camp is open for high school students, and the 1‑day camps are open for both high and middle school students, with priority registration granted to high school students.
