Animals arriving day‑of‑show must be in stalls by 8 a.m. and may be released at completion of show.

CONTESTS
• Table Setting Contest — “Holiday” category replaces the “Birthday” category. Any holiday celebrated throughout the year may be used for this theme. All holiday‑themed tables will need to compete in the “Holiday” category. For example, a 4th of July picnic or a formal Christmas dinner will compete in the “Holiday” category, instead of “Picnic” or “Formal,” respectively.

STATIC EXHIBITS
• Chess — expanded to include other logic games.
• Citizenship — All entries must include the following reflection: what did you learn about citizenship while creating this exhibit?
• Clothing — In the STEAM Clothing Level 2 & 3 Make One‑Buy One classes, only the constructed garment needs to be brought to the fair. If outfit is in the Fashion Show, bring the purchased garment at that time.
• Food & Nutrition —
* 4‑H members may request to take home the portion of their baked‑food exhibit not needed for public display. Speak to a food superintendent either during Tuesday check‑in to pick up food on Wednesday late in the afternoon OR speak to a food superintendent when you interview judge on Wednesday.
* Sourdough clarification: Sourdough is categorized differently than standard yeast breads due to its unique leavening agent and fermentation process and may ONLY be entered in Cooking 201: Baking with Whole Grains, Cooking 401: Family Food Traditions or Cooking 401: Ethnic Food Exhibit.
* Bread Machine clarification: Any bread item prepared or baked using a bread machine should be entered under the Cooking 201: Non‑Traditional Baked Product. All exhibits made in the Cooking 301 or Cooking 401 projects must have been prepared without the assistance of a bread machine for mixing, raising or baking of the food item.
• Robotics — Static exhibit classes Robotics Video (class #F500037) and Build a Robot (#F500038) no longer have a State Fair static exhibit equivalent. At the State Fair, they are now part of the Robotics Showcase contest. 4‑H members do not need to qualify with a county‑level exhibit, but are encouraged to enter their exhibit at the county level to gain feedback from a judge.
• Safety —
* First-Aid Kit is now 2 classes: General Purpose First‑Aid Kit and Specific Purpose First‑Aid Kit. A specific purpose kit should be assembled in a container appropriate for the kit’s intended purpose. Examples could include a kit for a vehicle, RV, boat, livestock building, camping, etc. Include a description of where the kit will be stored and examples of specific emergencies expected for that location.
