All exhibits which don’t move on their own (for example, Food & Nutrition; Photography; and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) are called static exhibits. Many 4‑H & FFA youth choose to showcase their finished static exhibit project(s) at the Lancaster County Super Fair at the Sandhills Global Event Center, 84th & Havelock in the Ag Society Hall.

See the Lancaster County Super Fair 4‑H & FFA Fair Book at https://lancaster.unl.edu/4h/fair/fair-book/4h-static/ for available classes (entry opportunities), descriptions and rules.

During the Super Fair, 4‑H and Open Class static exhibits will be on display and open to the public Thursday, July 30–Sunday, Aug. 2, 10 a.m.–9 p.m. — except Sunday closes at 8 p.m.

All Super Fair 4‑H & FFA static exhibits are not preregistered, but MUST be physically checked in and picked up. 4‑H static exhibitors have the opportunity to talk to a judge about their static exhibit during Interview Judging (see separate e-news announcement).

STATIC EXHIBIT CHECK-IN
All Super Fair 4‑H & FFA static exhibits are not preregistered, but MUST be physically checked in during Static Exhibit Check-In on Tuesday, July 28 between 4 and 8 p.m. An adult — such as a club leader or parent(s) — should assist 4‑H members in entering exhibits.

In the Ag Society Hall, exhibits are grouped into the following areas designated by signage:
• Clover Kids
• General Areas (includes Quilt Quest, Shooting Sports and animal static exhibits)
• Photography
• Visual Arts
• Home Design & Restoration (includes Heritage and Human Development)
• Clothing
• Food & Nutrition
• Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (includes Safety, Bicycles and FFA)
• Outdoor Adventures
• Horticulture (includes Agronomy, Conservation & Wildlife and Forestry)

A registration table is set up for each of the project areas — please take project(s) to the appropriate area(s). All entry tags, additional supporting information, recipe cards, data tags, etc. MUST be attached at this time.

Specific tags are required to be completed and attached to the following exhibits:
• Photography Data Tag Levels
• Home Design & Restoration Supporting Information Tag
• Visual Arts Supporting Information Tag
• Food Preservation Card
• Food Preservation Jar Label
• Clothing Design Data Card
• Fiber Arts Knitting and Crochet Data Cards
• Quilt Quest has various supporting information needed for different classes (see separate enews announcement)

It is highly encouraged to pick up tags/cards at the Extension office or download at https://lancaster.unl.edu/4h/fair/static and fill them out beforehand, however, tags/cards will be available during check-in. (Exception: Static Exhibit Entry Tag is not available online because it is a carbon-copy triplicate.)

STATIC EXHIBIT RELEASE/PICK UP
All 4‑H & FFA static exhibits will be released on Monday, Aug. 3, 7–11 a.m. in the Ag Society Hall. All static exhibits MUST be picked up during release time. Premium payouts for static exhibits will be paid in cash on Monday, Aug. 3, 7–11 a.m. in the Ag Society Hall.

Please pick up premium payouts BEFORE picking up static exhibits. Staff at the payout table will provide a list of each 4‑H member’s static exhibits, which will help families collect all of their projects without leaving any behind.

Please pick up project(s) at each of the area(s) you have exhibits.

STATIC EXHIBIT AG SOCIETY HALL PARKING
4‑H and Open Class static exhibitor parking is allowed on static exhibit check‑in/out and interview judging days only in Lot K at the Gate 1 entrance off 84th Street. For those that need to get closer to the doors of the Ag Society Hall, there is temporary 20 minute active unloading/loading by the west doors of the Ag Society Hall. After you have loaded or unloaded, please immediately move your vehicle back to Lot K while you finish your activities, so others can get close to the building as needed.

4‑H exhibitors:
• During check‑in/out — please use the north sets of doors on the west side indicated on the map.
• During interview judging — please walk around the newly constructed main office to the north main entry.

From July 31–Aug. 3, static exhibitors may park in public parking by entering Gate 1 or Gate 3. Gate 4 is for 4‑H & FFA exhibitors and their immediate families. The closest parking to Ag Society Hall is east of the EquineMarket Pavilion in Lot C, and walking through the FR8Star Pavilion.

Accommodation requests for registration or attendance may be directed to Karen Wobig at least two weeks prior to the program at lancaster@unl.edu or 402‑441‑7180. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet access needs.
