Nebraska 4-H Foundation's Hands for Larger Service Awards (formerly known as the Governor’s Agricultural Excellence Awards) sponsored by Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA) are open for 2026! Fifteen 4‑H clubs will be selected to receive $500 to complete projects that will have a lasting impact on their communities. Examples of fundable programs include mentorship programs, intergenerational programs, attending educational experiences, hosting workshops/educational events and service-learning opportunities.
Award funds will be issued around Wednesday, July 15. Clubs should submit their application and all materials to Lindsay Shearer via email on or before Friday, July 10. Details and application are at https://www.ne4hfoundation.org/handsforlargerserviceaward/.
