New this year — a State Fair 4-H Foods Event will be held during the Nebraska State Fair. Only teams of two people may enter, and both must be at least 10 year old by Jan. 1, 2014. Youth will create a menu, prepare one food item, set up a table, choose a theme, while expressing their food, nutrition and food safety knowledge during an interview with a judge. Each county may submit up to four teams of two 4-H members.
