The Lancaster County Agriculture Society’s Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, Dec. 10 at the Lancaster Event Center, 84th & Havelock, in the Lancaster Room. Voting will take place 5:30–6:30 p.m. for three positions on the Lancaster Agriculture Society Board (three-year terms). Any registered voter in Lancaster County may vote.
Any Lancaster County resident interested in running for a position on the board must submit a short biography by Nov. 18 in order to be placed on the ballot. The Annual Meeting, starting at 6:30 p.m., is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Lancaster Event Center. The regular monthly meeting of the Ag Society will follow the annual meeting. Regular monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of every month and are open to the public.
