This year, we are changing our market beef weigh-in process. If you have market beef you want to weigh in for the 2017 Lancaster County Super Fair let Cole Meador know at the 4-H office. Remember weigh-in's are not required for the Nebraska State Fair or AKSARBEN Stock Show anymore -- only if you want to participate in the county contest. Tags and DNA envelopes can be picked up at the Extension office if you do not want to weigh. All market cattle must be identified by April 15.
If you want to weigh-in market cattle, contact Cole (402-441-7180 or cmeador2@unl.edu) ASAP and let him know how many market beef you have. From there, we will figure out dates and locations to best suite the area of the county you live in.
