PET PALS
Want to learn more about your pet? Or get acquainted with new ones? Join the Pet Pals 4-H club for youth ages 8–18 and their small animals! Hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, mice, snakes, turtles, fish, reptiles, amphibians, caged birds and any animal small enough to put in your pocket is invited. Meetings to be arranged. For more information, contact Kate at 402-441-7180.

4 ON THE FLOOR DOG CLUB STARTING
A new dog 4-H club for youth ages 8–18 began on Jan. 3, 2019. Meetings will be every other Thursday at 6:45-7:45 p.m. at the Lancaster Event Center – 4-H office located by Pavilion 3. Focus will be on obedience through May, with a formal graduation ceremony at that time. Through the summer months, obedience will be reviewed with the addition of showmanship to prepare 4-H'ers for the Lancaster County Super Fair and potentially State Fair. Summer schedule to be determined. Youth should be able to maintain general control of their dog before joining this club. A training collar (also known as a choke chain) and a 6 foot leather leash will be required. All dogs must have updated vaccination records and a copy must be provided to the club leader. For more information, contact John Croghan at 402-957-3651.

CAT CLUB
This statewide 4-H Cat Club is a monthly webinar series held on the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. Meetings are hosted via Zoom, a video and web conferencing service. Youth are welcome to attend the host site at UNL East Campus, Animal Science Complex, room A211. Open to youth of all ages. For more information, go to http://4h.unl.edu/companion-animal/cat-club or contact Dr. Lisa Karr at 402-472-6458.

STAR CITY LLAMA & ALPACA
Do you want to learn about llamas and alpacas? The Star City Llama and Alpaca 4-H club focuses on the care and maintenance of these animals, and is heavily involved in community service projects. You do not have to own a llama or alpaca, you can borrow or lease one. 4-H’ers train their llama/alpaca to go through obstacle courses (with and without packs on). To educate the public, youth take their animals to parades, nursing homes and schools. The club also teaches entrepreneurship skills by creating products from the wool and marketing them. Open to all youth ages 5–18. For more information, contact the Extension Office at 402-441-7180.

PICK-A-PIG
The Pick-A-Pig 4-H club is for anyone who wants to learn about pork production and show a pig at the Lancaster County Super Fair. The club is open to all city and rural youth ages 8–18. The club reorganizes in late winter, usually with a deadline to join around March 15. For additional information, contact Harry Muhlbach at 402-430-7304.
