The Lancaster Event Center is looking for individuals or organizations to volunteer at the Super Fair, Aug 1-10. Super Fair will donate $9/hour/volunteer to your favorite nonprofit group. 4-H clubs with an EIN number and bank account qualify as a nonprofit group. Sign up by July 22.
Volunteer Roles:
• Help sell tickets at the fair gates.
• Direct cars in the parking lot working under direction of professional gate & parking supervisors.
• Other jobs available in cafe, grounds keeping, and special event ticket selling/ushering.
Volunteers are usually 16 years & older. NOTE: 14 & 15 year olds may sign up for gate ticket taker duty as long as they put their age behind their name e.g. John Doe (14) AND as long as an adult 19+ years old signs up with every two 14 or 15 year old volunteers to work alongside them. Adult should put (Adult) behind their name in sign up genius as well.
Plan to attend a Fair Training Meeting Thursday, July 25, 12-1:30 p.m. or 6-7:30 p.m. in Lancaster Event Center Business Center (Nebraska Room). Groups need to send at least one representative.
