Connecting with new volunteers is important for the growth of the Nebraska 4-H Youth Development Program. Due to Nebraska's success from the Raise Your Hand promotion this year and last year, we have an opportunity to recruit new individuals as volunteers who have already denoted an interest in supporting 4-H in our state.

Last spring, the UNL GivePulse system (http://unl.givepulse.com), utilized by the UNL Center for Civic Engagement for the UNL Husker Civic Challenge, was also used for N150 Celebrations and for Nebraska Extension flood relief efforts.

During a webinar on Thursday, November 21, at 10am CT/9am MT, participants will learn how the online UNL GivePulse system can be used as a Directory of Statewide 4-H Volunteer Opportunities to match specific 4-H needs with volunteer talents, schedules, etc.; manage event roles/responsibilities; and gather volunteer impact data following an event. The webinar can be joined at the following link: https://unl.zoom.us/j/326278715. Prior to the webinar, feel free to review the Creating and Managing Events Handout (https://go.unl.edu/cvhw) and the Give Pulse Instructions (https://go.unl.edu/79vb).
